Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MDside PC (“MDside”, “we”, “us”) handles information collected through mdside.com (the “Site”). MDside PC is a professional corporation owned by licensed physicians; MDside LLC is its management services organization and provides the non-clinical, administrative and technology services behind it. MDside provides medical direction, physician network and PC-MSO structuring services to businesses. The Site is an informational and business-development website.

The short version. This website is a business-to-business marketing site. It does not ask for, and is not built to receive, patient health information. The only information you actively give us is what you enter when you book a call or send us an email. We use it to reply to you and to run the business. We do not sell it, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you.

What this policy does and does not cover

It covers the Site. It does not cover the clinical services delivered by physicians and affiliated professional entities that MDside works with. Where a clinician treats a patient, that patient’s health information is handled by the treating practice under its own privacy notice and, where applicable, under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. See HIPAA and your health information for how that works and where to ask for those records.

Information we collect

Information you give us

There are no forms on this Site that submit to us directly. Lead capture runs through a third-party scheduling tool (Calendly). When you book a call, you provide your name, email address, and whatever else you choose to enter — typically your company, the states you operate in, and a short description of what you need. If you email or call us, we receive whatever is in that message.

Please do not send patient information to us through this Site, by email, or in a booking note. It is not a secure channel and it is not where that information belongs. If we need clinical detail, we will tell you how to send it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records standard technical information when a page is served: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and understanding which pages are useful.

Information we do not collect

  • We do not collect protected health information through this Site.
  • We do not collect payment card numbers through this Site.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from children.
  • We do not buy contact lists or enrich your record with data brokered from elsewhere.

How we use information

  • To respond to you, schedule and hold the call you asked for, and follow up on it.
  • To provide, and to invoice for, services you engage us for.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site.
  • To send business communications you have asked for, which you can stop at any time.
  • To comply with law, and to establish or defend legal claims.

Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and may use analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. Third-party components — the scheduling tool, the content delivery network, embedded fonts or maps — may set their own cookies when they load. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; parts of the Site may then not work as intended. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose it only as follows.

Who Why
Service providers Scheduling, hosting, content delivery, email, analytics and accounting vendors, acting on our instructions under contract.
MDside LLC Our management services organization, which provides the administrative, technology and business services supporting the practice, under a written management agreement.
Professional advisers Lawyers, accountants and insurers, where needed and bound by confidentiality.
Legal and safety Where required by law, legal process or a government request, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
Business transfer If the business or its assets are merged, acquired or reorganised, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and booking records are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and the relationship that may follow, and then for the period our legal, tax and insurance obligations require. Server logs are kept for a short operational period. When information is no longer needed it is deleted or de-identified.

Security

The Site is served over TLS and sits behind a content delivery network with standard protections. Access to business records is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. For how we handle information in engagements, see security and privacy.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to limit certain uses, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA; residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights under their own statutes.

To exercise a right, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to find your record. We will verify who you are before we act, which usually just means replying from the address we already hold. We do not charge for this. If we decline a request we will say why, and you may appeal by replying to that decision.

California “shine the light”: we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Other things worth saying plainly

  • Third-party links. This Site links to statutes, board publications and other companies’ sites. We do not control them and this policy does not apply to them.
  • Children. The Site is for business users. It is not directed to anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
  • Location. We operate in the United States and information is processed here.
  • Changes. If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
